Wells International Foundation and City of Paris Launch Classes Duo International Cultural Exchange
PARIS, France – January 18, 2018 – French and American Elementary School Students Connect through the Life and Art of Beauford Delaney
On January 12, 2018, sixteen (16) students from Jean Zay Elementary Public School in Paris, France and sixteen (16) students from Nature’s Way Montessori School in Knoxville, Tennessee met for the first session of Classes Duo, a program created by the City of Paris to unite elementary school children in Paris with students of similar age in foreign countries. 2nd Edition of LCC (Leadership, Communication, and Creativity) Workshop a Success
PARIS, France – November 26, 2017 – For the second straight year, the Wells International Foundation (WIF) brought together successful women leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to Paris for an intimate working retreat that focused on Leadership, Communication, and Creativity.
Called the LCC Workshop, this event provided tools to increase the attendees’ ability to successfully manage and lead their teams through change in a cohesive and holistic manner.

The Courageous Entrepreneur – Launching a NonProfit
PARIS, France – Oct 10, 2017 – Winnie Anderson of The Courageous Entrepreneur recently interviewed me about my journey in launching the Wells International Foundation. We talked about the similarities between for-profit and not-for-profit businesses, “busted myths” that people may have about non-profits, and discussed why start-up business owners may or may not want to consider the non-profit as a business model.

HOUSTON – October 1, 2017 – The Wells International Foundation (WIF) celebrates its 2nd anniversary of service on October 1, 2017.
Since its inception, this U.S. non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has watched its inaugural event, the Paris art exhibition Beauford Delaney: Resonance of Form and Vibration of Color, generate more than 10 related projects that fall under three of its six Strategic Focus Areas: The Arts, Travel / Study Abroad, and STEAM Education. Wells traveled from Paris, France to her hometown of Houston, Texas in June 2017 to kick off partnerships with the Houston Public Library and the Put It In A Book Foundation on projects that promote literacy for African-American children in grades K-3.
